University Health Centre
The University has Health facilities that include the university clinic and a standby ambulance. Health services are offered at the Health Unit/ clinic. The staff comprises of a qualified doctor, a clinical officer, and nurses.
Referral services are given when necessary at various hospitals through the African Premier Health (APH) insurance company. The University shall strictly settle bills for referral cases by the Health Unit through the office of the Dean of Students. That’s why it’s compulsory to have an insurance card if you are a student of International University of East Africa. Costs in any other hospital will be footed by the student/parent.
Other health services offered include Voluntary Counselling and Testing (VCT). Counselling services are provided by qualified counsellors in this office. The services are free of charge to students and staff. The counselling services enable you explore issues related to career development, academic matters and decision-making in general. Psychological, emotional and associated concerns are also handled.
There shall be Counsellor(s) who are willing to interact with you. In all engagements, the highest sense of confidentiality is observed by the counselling unit as per the ideals of the profession.

The ABC Centre which aims at having an HIV/AIDS free-zone to help students make informed and responsible choices with regard to life and HIV/AIDS.
