The two stood out as favourites in the Mr and Miss IUEA 2019\/2020<\/a> pageant from a pool of 43 male and female contestants, Since then, the annual beauty contest has been put on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Three years down the road, IUEA is set for yet another fanfare event to crown its next Queen and King.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the audition, on October 28th, 2022, the contestants showed determination towards the competition as they modelled and showcased their talents. Singing and dancing were the top talents we witnessed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the judges were former Miss IUEA Maria Nakiranda(2019), former Mr. IUEA, Mwesigwa Joseph(2018)<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students from different nationalities auditioned and vowed to take the crown. Among them is the current Miss University Africa IUEA<\/a>, Esther Furaha. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As it is the norm, the participants are expected to showcase the following during the grand finale: cultural wear, casual wear, swimwear, creative wear, official wear, dinner wear, a talent to showcase and general knowledge to answer the judges’ questions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The grand finale will take place on November 18th, 2022<\/strong>, in the main auditorium, and the winners will walk away with a full IUEA scholarship<\/a>, among other surprises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
