Education is a powerful driver of development and it is both the act of teaching knowledge to others as well as acquiring knowledge from someone else. The Vision Group came up with an idea to assemble all forces in the education industry to devise methods that would contribute to the rehabilitation of the sector after the damage done by COVID-19 and that idea was the Expo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe expo is the company\u2019s response to the audience and clients\u2019 demand for an innovation that can bring together all actors in the education space in one place.\u201d <\/p>\n– Said Mr. Don Wanyama<\/strong>, Vision Group CEO <\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The New Vision Expo<\/a> was undeniably the most profound way to boost the quality of education and connect experts to learners who are in search of innovations, career guidance as well as opportunities for growth and advancement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under the theme “Where Education and the World of Work Converge,” the New Vision Expo provided a unique opportunity for institutions and businesses to showcase their services and products. It also served as a platform for stakeholders to forge connections and partnerships with development partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

IUEA was fortunate enough to be a part of this splendid event and therefore given an opportunity to send over a few representatives to showcase the services offered by the institution as well as build connections with different organisations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOur university\u2019s intention is to provide assistance to S6 leavers who may have a hard time making the right education decisions.\u201d<\/p>\n– Mr. Jacob Johns<\/strong>, the PR Officer at IUEA<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The IUEA team engaged with various people and informed them about the University’s exceptional services, including scholarship opportunities<\/a>, both on-campus and online courses<\/a>, cutting-edge innovation and engineering facilities, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All in attendance contributed greatly to the success of the event. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The New Vision Expo was hosted by the Vision Group, taking place from January 27 to 29 at the Uganda Institute of Information and Communications Technology (UICT) in Nakawa, Kampala.
