What is Archi Kampus 2024?

Archi Kampus is an annual gathering of architecture students from across Africa, offering a unique platform to discuss the built environment from the perspective of future architects. Organised by the African Architecture Students’ Congress or African Congress for Architecture Students (ACAS), which is under the mentorship of the African Union of Architects (AUA), this event fosters interaction, networking, and the exchange of ideas among students both physically and virtually. For more information about this body and how it came to be, check out our blog on the first-ever ACAS Architecture Congress.

The initiative, originally inspired by the IUEA Architecture Students Association’s vision to collaborate regionally, has grown into a continental movement. With support from the Uganda Society of Architects and the East Africa Institute of Architects, Archi Kampus became a pan-African event, rotating annually across different regions.

Attendees dive into transformative discussions on the evolution of African architecture.
