INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF EAST AFRICA

The objective of the faculty of science and technology is to offer courses that are relevant to today’s market and technology. My goal is to lead the Faculty of Science and Technology to be the best faculty
Our faculty of science and technology programmes are accredited by National Council for Higher Education (NCHE). Faculty of Science & technology aims to be a forerunner in using ICT to support educational programmes and to enhance the delivery of its specialized curriculum.
Our Faculty of science and technology, Motto is “Knowledge”, “Skills” and “Innovation” and our achievement is to prepare students with the “Knowledge”, “Skills” and “Innovation” to contribute a better society.
Dream of our faculty where more African young men and women will lead in science, technology, engineering and math – a world where they will play a central role in OUR digital future.
Everyone should be given its birthright of education not just as a cause of achieving something else but for their own digital future.
All young men and women to learn more about the amazing opportunities and careers offered by the ICT sector. Technology developments are creating new opportunities almost every week and even every day. Most of you will be in jobs in the future which do not even exist today.
I think as a society we need to do more sensitization and encourage the young men and women by showing that how easy to develop applications and should know that there is a place for them in ICT. It is the future and there is progress in new technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Robotics etc.
ICT sector is a great place to work as a dynamic and expanding sector provide enough opportunities to all of us.
“Making it is not just limited to pursuing a degree or diploma, critical thinking and practical skills are also very important.”
I wish you every success with your careers and take advantage of and contribute to the success of our digital future!
