What Programmes are Available?
Students who join IUEA have the privilege of choosing from a variety of internationally accredited courses in Business, Science and Technology, Engineering, and Law. We also offer a Higher Education Certificate programme for those who need additional qualifications to join their desired course. What are the Admission Requirements?
To apply, you’ll need:
- Academic Documents: O-level and A-level results, however, Bachelor’s transcript and certificate are required for Master’s applicants.
- Identification: A valid national ID, passport, refugee ID, or birth certificate.
- Application Fee: $15 or UGX 50,000.
- 2 Passport Size Photos

Section 1: Personal Details
In this section, you are required to fill in:
- Title: Mr., Mrs., or Miss
- First Name: Your given name
- Last Name: Your surname
- Date of Birth: Date/Month/Year
- Country of Birth: The country where you were born
- Gender: Clarify whether you are male or female by clicking on the corresponding box
- Passport Photo: Click “Choose file” and click on a clear image of your passport or ID
- Email Address: Your contact email
- Telephone: Your mobile number
- Postal Address: Where you live
- City/Town: The city you live in
- Country of Residence: The country you live in
Section 2: Programme Details
In this section, you are required to fill in:
- Mode of Study: Select whether you would like to study online or on campus
- Preferred Intake: Select the semester you want to begin, for example, August
- Preferred Programme: Select what you want to study
- Academic Documents: Click “Choose file” and click on your academic documents
- Identification Documents: Click “Choose file” and click on your ID, passport, refugee ID, or birth certificate
Note: You can use the “Previous” button to return to a section in case you would like to make some adjustments.
Section 3: Additional Information
This section requires information about:
- Sponsor Information: Details of who will pay your fees
- How You Heard About Us: Select from the options or write in “Other Sources” how you got to find out about IUEA
- Declaration: Please ensure the information is accurate and, if so, tick the box next to “Declaration” and submit your application.
Congratulations on applying to IUEA! Our admissions team will review your application and get back to you within a few working days. Be sure to check your email, including your spam folder, for any updates. If you don’t hear from us within a week, please send an email to [email protected] with your full name, email address, and the course you applied for. Lastly, double-check the email address you provided on the application form to avoid any errors.
What’s next?
Once you receive your admission letter, you’re officially an IUEA student! Next is tuition payment and registration, which involves creating your Learning Management System (LMS) account.

- Head to your nearest ABSA, United Bank of Africa or DFCU Branch.
- Pick an IUEA bank slip and make sure to fill in the information below.
- Student’s name as it appears on the admission letter
- Student Registration number as it appears on the admission letter
- Academic year and semester
- Indicate the amount you want to pay
- Indicate the account number if required (see IUEA account numbers below)
- Make the payment.

CREATING A LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (LMS) ACCOUNT
After paying your fees, take the receipt and your admission letter to the accounts department. They’ll give you another receipt to take to the admissions office, where your LMS account will be created.

Our campus is huge, and it can feel overwhelming at first. But don’t worry! We have orientation sessions during the first week of the semester to help you out. These fun and informative sessions will introduce you to your lecturers, facilities, and all the opportunities at the university. Plus, we throw freshers’ parties and other fun events to help you mingle and feel right at home at IUEA!
What do I need to bring?
Bring whatever you need for taking notes—whether it’s a notebook, laptop, or another device. Our smart library and campus-wide fast internet ensure you can access all materials quickly and easily.
