Edging out last year’s 28, Mr and Miss IUEA 2024 set the stage for 29 brave contestants to battle for the throne in a fierce contest of talent and elegance. This epic event unfolded over 6 rounds:
- Introductory Wear: The first impression, where each contestant makes a grand entrance.
- Creative Expression: A showcase of creativity
- Cultural Wear: Celebrating diversity through traditional attire.
- Dinner Wear: Pure elegance as contestants stepped out in stunning evening outfits.

Meet our new king: Thon Deng Thon, a South Sudanese first-year scholar in the craft of Civil Engineering. Thon wasn’t just a competitor; he conquered the event with poise and charisma, winning both the crown of the people as Mr Popularity and the king’s crown as Mr IUEA 2024. His victory was a testament to his popularity and charm, which captivated the audience and judges alike.

King Thon dreams of fostering a united “kingdom”. No, he’s not eyeing the United Kingdom, but rather a united student body. Our university brings together students from a kaleidoscope of languages, cultures, and faiths, and Mr IUEA 2024 is passionate about nurturing these bonds. His vision of a cohesive IUEA “kingdom” is one that celebrates diversity and creates a sense of belonging for all.

Queen Siguei Simei Francesca from Chad, a scholar in the craft of architecture and our embodiment of grace and poise. Queen Francesca didn’t just earn her crown; she dazzled the audience with each step across the runway. Her elegance is a result of countless hours of practice, and her passion for the runway was undeniable. She earned the title of Top Female Model, proving that the runway loves her as much as she loves it.
