The Faculty of Business and Management (FBM) of International University of East Africa offers a two-year diploma programme leading to the award of Diploma in Public Administration (DPA). Politicians are the face of our government, but behind the scenes are the hard working public officials who are responsible for researching, planning, and implementation of laws and services in the country. Public Administration is a key component of the government structure and is a growing profession in the country. The Diploma in Public Administration will equip you with skills in business communication, public and personnel management, local government issues, disaster management, public law, business mathematics and end-user computing to help you become the next public administrator.
Attending the Faculty of Business and Management qualifies one for an array of leadership positions and other advanced roles in private, public and nonprofit organizations. You’ll have the option to work across industries as a business analyst, human resources generalist, operations manager or marketing specialist. Some business administration graduates also venture into entrepreneurship, creating their own successful businesses from the ground up.
